A transient surge study is required for a 13-km pipeline transporting treated wastewater from a sewage treatment plant (STP). The study aims to predict critical pressure extremes and identify necessary hardware locations for protection before commissioning.

It will model the pipeline's geometry and flow data, simulate pump operations, valve maneuvers, and power failures, and assess pressure envelopes and risks. Deliverables include a calculation report, marked-up General Arrangement Drawing (GAD), and a summary of components.
