Turboden S.p.A. has launched the world's largest steam-producing heat pump at delfortgroup AG's paper mill in Austria. The system operates 10% above its guaranteed Coefficient of Performance (COP) and is designed to decarbonize industrial steam generation.

It generates 12 MWth of superheated steam using CO-free electricity and low-temperature waste heat, expected to avoid approximately 19,000 tonnes of CO emissions annually. This project marks a significant milestone in delfort's decarbonization efforts and reinforces Turboden's role in advancing electrified heat solutions.
