Leanne Tormey, a graduate from Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), received the Honours Degree Award 2025 from the International Society of Automation (ISA) Irish Branch for her final-year project in instrumentation and control. Tormey also won Best Automation and Robotics Poster at the Engineering Expo 2025 and is now employed by Mexx Engineering in Australia. TUS boasts the highest graduate employment rate in Ireland, with 85.5% of honours degree graduates employed or in further study within nine months.
