Valmet to Enhance Energy Production Flexibility for Fortum in Finland

INDUSTRIAL IOT

Valmet's new automation solutions will integrate into Fortum's existing DCS to improve flexibility and cost-efficiency in energy production. The project, booked in Q4 2025, aims to optimize the management of Fortum's electric boilers and enhance participation in electricity reserve markets. Delivery is scheduled for Q4 2026.
