Wartsila to Supply Future-Ready Engine for Allseas Group Vessel in China
METHANOLAMMONIA
Wärtsilä has been chosen to supply an engine for a new semi-submersible heavy transport vessel being built by Allseas Group at Guangzhou Shipyard International, with delivery anticipated in Q1 2028. The Wärtsilä 31 engine features a modular design for reduced maintenance and the ability to utilize alternative sustainable fuels, along with an NOx reducer for nitrogen oxide emissions. This selection offers the shipowner flexibility to transition to fuels such as methanol or ammonia in the future.
