In 2025, Wood has achieved over $1 billion in contract wins in the Middle East, marking a 20% increase compared to 2024. Key contract awards include an EPCM contract for the ADNOC Gas Habshan facility expansion in the UAE, project management services for PetroChina at the West Qurna 1 oilfield in Iraq, and consultancy for the UAE's first methanol production facility in Abu Dhabi.
Additionally, Wood has secured multiple decarbonisation contracts for flare gas reduction in Iraq's major oil fields. The company plans to enhance local operations and expand its energy transition and digitalisation services through newly launched specialist hubs, focusing on improving asset reliability and reducing emissions.
