Zambia's Copperbelt Mine has improved production stability by overhauling its valve control systems in collaboration with Valmet and Frasmac Limited. The transition to Neles™ NDX™ intelligent valve controllers has eliminated unplanned downtime and optimized energy use, significantly reducing operational costs. Following the initial success, the mine ordered 10 additional units to standardize control systems, supporting a move towards predictive maintenance in a challenging mining environment.
