Zanskar, a Utah-based startup, revitalized New Mexico's Lightning Dock Geothermal Plant after purchasing it in 2024. By drilling a new well in 2025, the plant's energy production doubled to a net 10.8 megawatts per hour, powering over 9,000 homes.
