Scottish marine energy company ZOEX Ltd has secured its first international sale of a wave energy prototype and entered a significant development agreement in the Asia Pacific region. Following successful sea trials in Turkey, the company plans to establish a microgrid for local streetlights and aims to develop demonstration projects in Taiwan and Guam, targeting a pipeline of 100MW within three years. ZOEX's technology is also attracting interest in markets like Peru and Taiwan, where it offers a clean energy alternative to diesel generators.
