1462 kg Gold Reserves Discovered in Mayurbhanj, Odisha

Gold reserves of 1462 kg have been discovered in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha, as reported by state minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena. The Geological Survey of India found these deposits during a survey in the Bangiriposhi assembly constituency, along with copper reserves of 17.06 million tons. This follows earlier discoveries of approximately 1,996 kg of gold in Deogarh and Keonjhar districts.
