The €5M Horizon Europe project, COMPASS, aims to improve the sustainability of offshore wind farms across Europe. Launched in November 2025, the four-year initiative will create an open-source decision-support platform integrating environmental, economic, and social models. The project involves partnerships with France Energies Marines, RWTH Aachen University, and various industrial and research organizations to develop sustainability indicators and recommendations for offshore wind technologies.
