The Danish Government has designated Aalborg as one of 11 national industrial parks, allocating 243 hectares of land to promote green manufacturing and carbon capture, storage, and utilization (CCUS) projects. This initiative aims to attract over DKK 10 billion in investments and create 1,500 jobs, with support from key stakeholders like Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Siemens Gamesa. Notable projects include the ACCSION carbon capture facility and Fjord PtX, which focuses on producing synthetic aviation fuel.
