ABB STRIEBEL & JOHN is implementing sustainable energy measures at its Sasbach facility, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions by 3,786 tons annually. The site utilizes solar energy, with a photovoltaic system generating approximately 1,500 MWh of green power each year.
Additionally, modern energy management systems and new technologies are enhancing operational efficiency and reliability. Plans for battery storage and transitioning to heat pump technology will further reduce fossil fuel dependency, contributing to ABB's global Mission to Zero initiative.
