Volks Energie Expands Its Presence in India's Energy EPC Market with Diverse Solutions
Founded in 2011 by Piyush Goyal and Arjun Rathi, Volks Energie offers energy storage, HVAC, and solar energy systems across India. The company has grown into a key player in the energy EPC market without external funding, executing projects nationwide.
Initial challenges included customer skepticism towards rooftop solar, leading to early diversification into solar water heaters and high-efficiency AC systems. Significant projects included a Rs 5 lakh government contract and a Rs 2 crore solar water heating project in Uttarakhand.
By 2017, it was empanelled with the Delhi government for rooftop solar installations. The company reports revenues of Rs 20 crore in FY20-23, growing to Rs 46 crore in FY25, with projections of Rs 70-75 crore for FY26. Volks Energie employs around 50 people and plans to double its workforce within 12-18 months, while competing with larger manufacturers through rapid execution and specialized engineering.
