ACS Secures $6 Billion Contract for BP Indonesia Carbon Capture Project

ACS, through its subsidiary Hochtief, has secured a $6 billion contract for civil works related to BP Indonesia's Tangguh Ubadari carbon capture project, which aims to capture, utilize, and store carbon while unlocking additional gas resources. The project, valued at $7 billion overall, involves civil works in Papua Barat, including drainage, roads, and prefabricated concrete elements, as well as the installation of steel structures and electrical systems. The contract was awarded by PT JGC Indonesia, the main contractor for the project's development set for 2024.
