ACWA Power is set to launch the Garuda Green Hydrogen project in Indonesia in 2026, in collaboration with PT PLN and PT Pupuk Indonesia. This initiative aims to produce 150,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually using 600 megawatts of solar and wind power, with an estimated value of $1 billion, positioning Indonesia as a leader in Southeast Asia's green hydrogen market.
