Airbus in Bremen Supplies 50% of NASA's Orion Module for Artemis II Moon Mission

The Artemis II mission, set to launch in March after a February delay, is the first crewed lunar mission since 1972. Airbus Defence and Space in Bremen is responsible for 50% of the Orion spacecraft, specifically the European Service Module (ESM), which provides essential life support for astronauts.
Lockheed Martin produces the crew capsule. The ESM is the first critical component for a NASA mission developed outside the U.S.
