Airbus Launchpad Opens in Stevenage to Support UK Space SMEs with £3.9 Million Investment

Airbus has launched a new facility in Stevenage, supported by a £3.9 million investment from the UK Space Agency, to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK space sector. The Airbus Launchpad will provide free access to laboratories and testing spaces for over 50 users, aiming to strengthen the UK space supply chain and promote innovation. Three companies, Applied Atomics, Spintex, and Stars Edge, will begin utilizing the facility in February 2024.
