Bengaluru-based startup Akashlabdhi has successfully conducted key tests in Switzerland for its inflatable space habitat, 'AntarikshHAB', in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). A scaled-down version is set to launch in July, measuring 70 cubic meters, with a final design of 300 cubic meters, focusing on material degradation and survivability during atmospheric re-entry. The project involves partnerships with various European organizations and Indian institutions, aiming to establish a Human Habitat Safety and R&D facility in Switzerland.
