Alfa Laval and Hydros have created Italy's first Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system at Tecnoparco Valbasento, designed to treat highly polluted industrial wastewater while recovering reusable water and solids. The system can recycle up to 98% of the wastewater, producing only a crystallized salt as a byproduct. This initiative aims to enhance water circularity and promote sustainability in industrial processes.
