Alpha HPA Secures $225 Million for High Purity Alumina Facility in Gladstone

Alpha HPA has secured $225 million to build the world's largest High Purity Alumina facility in Gladstone, Australia, with $210 million earmarked for the project's second stage, expected to be completed by late 2027 or early 2028. The investment, which includes $75 million from the National Reconstruction Fund, aims to create 420 construction jobs and 80 ongoing roles, while promoting domestic HPA production essential for semiconductors and lithium-ion batteries, all powered by 100% renewable energy.
