CARBON CAPTURECLIMATE POLICY, REGULATION & CARBON MARKETS
Amazon has expanded its carbon credit service, allowing suppliers to invest in credits from lower carbon shipping fuels and superpollutant gas destruction. This initiative is part of Amazon's Sustainability Exchange, launched in 2024, to provide sustainability tools to its supply chain.
The service includes lower-carbon fuel inset credits and superpollutant neutralization credits, promoting renewable diesel and biodiesel production. Amazon aims to enhance transparency and quality in the carbon market through this offering.
