AMD Provides $300 Million Loan Guarantee to Crusoe for AI Chip Acquisition

AMD will support Crusoe with a $300 million loan guarantee for AI chip purchases, enabling a 6% interest loan through Goldman Sachs. This will allow Crusoe to acquire AMD chips for a new data center in Ohio, built by 5C with Brookfield's backing.
If customer acquisition fails, AMD will lease its chips back from Crusoe. The partnership reflects intensified competition in the semiconductor industry for AI infrastructure, following NVIDIA's similar strategies in supporting partners.
