Anatel Updates Brazil's Radio Frequency Regulations for Advanced Radar Systems and Tracking

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has revised its radio frequency regulations to modernize spectrum usage and align with international standards. The new rules allow the use of advanced oceanographic radar systems in high-frequency (HF) bands, broadening their application in Brazil. Additionally, operational limits are established for tracking systems utilized by space launch vehicles and aircraft within the 5,450 MHz to 5,850 MHz sub-band.
