Andalusia has launched the COMPiTE initiative to advance green hydrogen development in collaboration with Portugal, focusing on decarbonization in southern Europe. This project, part of the POCTEP Programme, aims to create a cross-border renewable hydrogen roadmap, identify industry opportunities, and implement training programs for workers, leveraging regional expertise and resources. Key partners include the University of Cádiz and the National Institute of Aerospace Technology, with the initiative positioning Andalusia as a leader in establishing a southern European hydrogen valley.
