The Government of Andhra Pradesh has amended the Green Energy Open Access Regulation to align with the Integrated Clean Energy Policy, aiming to attract ₹10 lakh crores in investments and create 7.5 lakh jobs. Key changes include provisions for unutilized green energy banking, enabling EV charging stations to source power from Green Open Access generators, and adjustments to standby charges and green hydrogen project exemptions. The amendments will take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle following the Gazette notification.
