Angola's Tetelo copper mine, owned by Shining Star Icarus, shipped its first copper concentrates in January 2026. The mine, which began operations in October 2025, aims to produce 19,000 tons of copper concentrate in its first year and reach steady production of 23,000 tons by 2027, eventually ramping up to 36,000-40,000 tons annually by 2030.
