Approval Granted for 50MW Energy Storage Facility at Former Barry Power Station in Wales

Construction is set to begin in 2030 and will last two years, with specific traffic management measures in place. Concerns were raised regarding battery safety and interference, but officials confirmed the technology's reliability compared to lithium-ion batteries.
