Arm Holdings to Create 320 Jobs in Texas with Semiconductor Innovation Fund Grant

Arm Holdings PLC plans to expand its Austin campus, creating over 320 jobs with a $4.162 million grant from the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund. The company will invest $71 million in the project, which includes a new lab for semiconductor failure analysis.

Arm, majority-owned by SoftBank Group Corp., has operated in Austin since 1997 and employs around 800 people there. The Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund, established in 2023, aims to boost chip research and manufacturing in the state.
