AST SpaceMobile announced a 6% increase in its stock following the scheduled launch of its BlueBird 7 satellite in late February from Cape Canaveral, utilizing Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket. This satellite, part of the company's goal to establish a space-based cellular broadband network for standard smartphones, features the largest commercial communications array in low Earth orbit and aims for peak data rates of 120 Mbps. AST SpaceMobile plans to launch 45-60 satellites by the end of 2026, with regular launches every one to two months.
