Austal Begins Construction of Horizon X Ferry for Gotlandsbolaget in the Philippines

Austal has commenced work on its largest vessel, Horizon X, at its Philippines shipyard for Sweden's Gotlandsbolaget. The ferry will be hydrogen-ready, featuring a multi-fuel design and advanced propulsion technology, and is scheduled for delivery in mid-2028.
