Aventa Expands into Saudi Arabia to Support Vision 2030's Offshore and Hydrogen Projects
Aventa, a global engineering and subsea consultancy firm, has expanded into Saudi Arabia following a strategic immersion organized by Business France's Booster Grow Global program. This initiative allowed Aventa to engage with national energy stakeholders and major industrial groups, laying the groundwork for its long-term presence.
Saudi Arabia aims to deploy 130 GW of renewable capacity by 2030 and is initiating offshore wind feasibility studies in the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf. The Kingdom targets 4 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually, supported by the $8.4 billion NEOM Green Hydrogen Project.
Aventa will focus on cable system design, wind project engineering, and hydrogen development, while also planning to open a regional office in Riyadh and create local partnerships. The company aims to train Saudi engineers and foster a home-grown engineering ecosystem aligned with Vision 2030.
