Italy's life expectancy reached 83.9 years in 2024 and is projected to rise to 87.2 by 2050, while the old-age dependency ratio is expected to reach 74.4%. The European Silver Economy was valued at €5.7 trillion in 2025. TEHA identified five key technology clusters for longevity solutions and highlighted the need for a National Longevity Strategy.
