Aylwards Propose Seven-Lot Subdivision in Keene, Public Comment Open Until January 8

Philip and Kathleen Aylward have proposed a seven-lot subdivision on 168 acres off state Route 73 in Keene, with six lots ranging from 1.96 to 3.98 acres and one large lot intended for a family home. The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comments on the proposal until January 8, with a board vote scheduled for January 22-23; so far, one opposition comment has been received. Additionally, the APA is also considering a 5-megawatt lithium-ion battery storage system proposal from Carson Power in Northampton, open for public comment until the same date.
