Banpu Plc has acquired the Megamouth Battery Energy Storage System project in Texas for $4 million, marking its entry into the U.S. battery energy storage market. The project will have a capacity of 100 megawatts and 200 megawatt-hours, with construction starting in Q3 2025 and commercial operations expected by Q4 2027.
