Basseterre Desalination Plant Commissioned for 24-Hour Water Supply in St. Kitts and Nevis

WATER INFRASTRUCTURE & DESALINATION

The Basseterre Desalination Plant has been officially commissioned, enabling the production of two million gallons of potable water daily. The ceremony will take place on 24 February 2026 at C.A. Paul Southwell Industrial Park. This facility aims to enhance water security for Basseterre and is a key part of the Government's Sustainable Island State Agenda.
