B.C. Launches $1.7M Clean Technology Pilot Projects at Port of Prince Rupert

The Port of Prince Rupert is launching over $1.7 million in clean technology pilot projects, backed by Innovate BC's Integrated Marketplaces initiative. Key projects include a hydrogen-fueling station by Hydra Energy, an unmanned surface vessel for marine monitoring from Open Ocean Robotics, and a data-acquisition system on a short-haul truck by Nuport Robotics, all aimed at decarbonization and enhancing productivity. These efforts are part of B.C.'s Look West plan to support job creation and industry growth.
