The policy aims for a 5% contribution from the semiconductor sector to the state's economy within five years, targeting Rs 25,000 crore in investments and establishing three semiconductor units with over Rs 5,000 crore in funding. It includes incentives such as waivers on fees and conditions for local employment, benefiting startups, MSMEs, and large investors in IT and electronics.
