Blue Origin Launches TeraWave Satellite Network to Compete with SpaceX’s Starlink

Blue Origin has unveiled the TeraWave satellite communication network, which will consist of 5,408 satellites offering data speeds of up to 6 Tbps for businesses and governments. Scheduled to launch in Q4 2027 using the New Glenn rocket, TeraWave aims to serve approximately 100,000 customers and enhance connectivity resilience, positioning Blue Origin to compete with SpaceX's Starlink and Amazon's Leo projects in the expanding satellite market.
