BluSky has finalized an $8.3 million agreement with Associated Energy Developers to expand the AR1 biochar facility in Arkansas, aiming to produce 40,000 tons of biochar annually by January 2026. The project will utilize Vulcan Heavy pyrolysis units to convert organic waste into biochar and bioenergy, with commissioning expected in January 2024. This expansion also supports a $105 million supply agreement for biochar and may benefit BluSky's AR2 project.
