Yeosu Hanyoung University and TW Biomass Energy Sign Industry-Academia Cooperation Agreement
Yeosu Hanyoung University and TW Biomass Energy Co., Ltd. signed a business agreement on the 22nd to enhance industry-academia cooperation. The agreement includes a training plan to improve the practical skills of current employees in the power generation industry, with a four-week joint training course set to begin in January.
The program will cover specialized knowledge in areas such as electricity, instrumentation, DCS, and machinery, while also focusing on employee adaptability and safety awareness through Process Safety Management (PSM) training. TW Biomass Energy, a joint venture between LG Chem and GS EPS, is establishing a biomass power plant that generates steam and electricity from recycled waste wood, recognized as sustainable biomass under EU regulations.
