Bosch Implements Layoffs in China Amid Workforce Optimization for Hydrogen Projects

Bosch has begun a workforce optimization plan in China, affecting nearly 200 employees at its Wuxi plant, focusing on gasoline and hydrogen fuel cell projects. A new round of layoffs is expected in June 2026. Bosch's sales in China grew to approximately RMB 142.7 billion in fiscal year 2024, but growth has slowed amid challenges in the automotive market.
