Amsterdam-based Brineworks has raised €6.8 million in a funding round led by Seax Ventures to enhance its seawater electrolysis technology aimed at producing sustainable fuels and reducing carbon emissions. The investment aligns with Seax’s goal to support innovations that can boost GDP and cut global emissions by 1% over the next decade. Concurrently, Eindhoven's Carbyon has launched a new carbon capture machine and secured €1.8 million in grants to further its research and development efforts.
