BYD and Hithium Awarded Energy Storage Contracts by PowerChina and China Electric Equipment Group

ENERGY STORAGE

BYD has been selected as the primary candidate for a significant energy storage system project by PowerChina, encompassing 400 MW in Quzhou County and 450 MW in Cheng'an County. Concurrently, Hithium Energy secured a contract for large-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery cells from China Electric Equipment Group, which evaluated eight suppliers in its procurement process.
