C-DAC Launches India's Largest Pre-Silicon Chip Validation Facility in Bengaluru
SEMICONDUCTOR
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has launched PRITVI-ACE, India's largest pre-silicon chip validation facility in Bengaluru. The facility supports designs up to 48-core CPUs and aims to enhance the semiconductor design ecosystem by enabling near-silicon-speed prototyping and validation.
It will function as a national shared resource for R&D programs under the National Supercomputing Mission and India Semiconductor Mission, aiding startups and academic institutions. Built on Siemens EDA's Veloce Pro FPGA platform, PRITVI-ACE is expected to reduce design risk and time-to-market for indigenous chips.
