CALB, Weilan, and Changzhou Lithium Source Initiate Multiple Energy Storage Projects

CALB has commenced a 51 GWh power and energy storage battery project in Henan Province, with an investment of RMB 9.63 billion, expected to start production in October 2026. Meanwhile, Weilan New Energy plans to build a 15 GWh solid-state lithium battery production base for RMB 5.2 billion, and Changzhou Lithium Source will establish a lithium battery cathode material project in Changzhou City, targeting an annual production capacity of 240,000 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials.
