Canada Launches Space Investment Mission to Enhance UK Space Sector Engagement
SPACE ECONOMY
The UK Department for Business and Trade has launched a Canada Space Investment Mission, enabling Canadian companies to explore opportunities within the UK space sector, in line with Canada's C$200 million investment in sovereign launch capability. This initiative coincides with the Space-Comm Europe event and requires Canadian companies to meet specific eligibility criteria. Additionally, UK rocket company Orbex is in negotiations for a potential sale to The Exploration Company, which is developing reusable spacecraft, while facing delays in its launch schedule now set for early 2026.
