Canada's energy transition strategy highlights the importance of Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, with a focus on developing CO₂ transport networks using repurposed hydrocarbon pipelines. The integration of EV's PigCAM technology with the AIVA™ analytics platform enables continuous high-definition video inspections to ensure pipeline cleanliness and safety for CCUS operations. Current pipelines transport 7 Mt of CO₂ annually, with plans to increase capacity to 10-12 Mt by 2030, underscoring the need for effective visual inspection as CCUS infrastructure expands.
