Construction is underway in Cannes for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region's inaugural electrolytic hydrogen production station, which is set to produce 800 kg of green hydrogen daily. The facility will utilize treated wastewater from the Aquaviva plant and support the decarbonization of the local bus network, with 41 fuel cell buses planned, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions by over 3,228 tonnes annually.
