CGD is constructing an underground water storage tank at 19050 County Road 24 as part of the North Glengarry Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This tank will serve as an emergency water source for incidents at the facility and will also be available for fire-protection services across North Glengarry. The BESS project is nearing completion, with final work concentrated on electrical requirements from Hydro One.
